For most B2C stores we recommend Shopify: fast launch, stability and low running costs. Medusa makes sense when you have an unusual process, B2B, or do not want to pay sales commission. You get a recommendation after the first call.

Shopify is a subscription from roughly 25 EUR a month plus payment provider fees. Medusa has no subscription but needs hosting, usually from a few dozen EUR a month. Payment fees are similar on every platform.

Yes. We migrate products, customers, order history and URLs with 301 redirects so you keep your Google rankings. The old store stays live until the domain switch.
